Safe, supervised, off-lead group play sessions for sociable dogs in a secure and structured environment.

My service is different to the average dog walker or day care provider. I offer pick up and drop off in my air-conditioned vehicle and have a private home-based field - a safe space for the dogs to exercise and play.

The sessions are structured stay and play from my private residence in Whitchurch. These sessions allow the dogs to safely socialise, play, and engage in natural behaviour within a controlled group setting.

Each session takes place in my fully secure one-acre enclosed field with additional hard-surfaced areas, allowing dogs freedom of movement without the restriction of leads, while still being safely supervised at all times.

Dogs are collected directly from their home in my fully crated, purpose-built vehicle and returned after their session, offering a complete, managed service for owners.

Before joining, every dog is invited to a meet-and-greet assessment to ensure they are a suitable fit for the group environment.

About Suzy

13 years ago, I worked as a paralegal for a divorce solicitor before leaving to care for my family. I loved walking the dogs and thought what a wonderful business to have. I started by taking on a few dog for walks.

When I first started walking dogs, some dog owners said their dogs couldn't cope with the long walks. Then I started using my large field, which worked superbly, and thus my business was born.

I now run structured dog stay and play sessions from my private residence in Whitchurch, offering a safe and carefully managed environment for off-lead social interaction. I provide their daily exercise and enjoyable group exercise play dog sessions.

I am the pack leader and the dogs recognise and respond to this. One of my dog owners said, 'Suzy is professional and treats your dog like one of her own, whilst also making sure the dogs know she is boss'

My focus is on creating balanced, calm group dynamics where suitable dogs can safely engage in natural play and social behaviour within a secure enclosed space.

This is not a walking service or traditional daycare setting. Instead, I specialise in short, structured group sessions where dogs are supervised while enjoying free movement and interaction in a controlled environment.

Home from home boarding is only available to existing pack members.

I am fully insured with Protectivity and hold a 5-star licence issued by Shropshire Council, ensuring a professional, compliant, and high-standard service.

Safety and suitability are central to my approach — every dog must be assessed and compatible with group life before joining. The lucky dogs that are accepted have a wonderful time, after which they can return home for a well-earned nap in their own bed.

SS & Play

I have been using Suzy’s stay and play service for a number of years, for our previous dog and for the 2 dogs we currently have now. My dogs absolutely love Suzy and are so excited when they hear her van pull up. Knowing they are safe and happy when they are with her is priceless. From the pictures she sends I know they are having fun and “being dogs” in a safe and controlled environment. She also takes time to really get to know the dogs and introduce them to her pack with care and consideration. This was so important to me as my last dog, and indeed one of my current dogs, was quite anxious. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dog Boarding

Leaving your dogs overnight in someone else’s care can be daunting and I can honestly say there is no one I trust more with my boys than Suzy. I know they are safe, being exceptionally well cared for and happy. From the pictures in them lying in front of the fire or cuddled up in bed I know they are having a true home from home experience. They always come back home clean, happy and exhausted - a sign I know that they’ve had lots of fun. Suzy is always my first port of call if I ever have to leave them. She truly is their second mum. We started our Rottweiler pup with Suzy at the start of the year. Suzy was very knowledgeable on other dogs Zeus would fit in with as we were flexible with days. She has integrated him with the ‘pack’ and sends regular updates. Suzy gets to know your dog individually and is able to swap and change the group if needed/when suitable. Suzy is professional and treats your dog like one of her own, whilst also making sure the dogs know she is boss. I trust Suzy whole heartedly and Zeus has thrived since starting. It was really important to us to have Zeus mix with other dogs a couple of times a week and it’s the perfect set up. I’m so glad we found you!
